Christmas is an important time in my family. My mum starts to cook several weeks in advance to get everything prepared and the whole family participate. This is really an important time where we are together and share.

1/ Traditional French Menu:

Foie gras and/or smoked salmon

Turkey with chestnuts and veggies

Cheese platter

Christmas Log, Bûche de Noël

Asian Style Scallops
2/ Seaside Xmas Menu:

Asian style scallops served with basmati rice
Fresh scallops cooked with butter in a frying pan for 5 minutes each side. Add the juice of clementine just at the end. Serve hot with salt, pepper, and fresh cut coriander.
Green Tea Jelly with chocolate truffles and spicy cookies

3/ Cheap and Chic Xmas Menu:

Chicken liver Mousse served with toasts
you can prepare the trifle in big bowl or serve it in small glasses like a verrine!

4/ Quick and Easy Xmas menu :

Roasted Lamb chops or fast Bresse style chicken

Roasted pumpkin, chestnuts with cream

5/ Xmas with friends menu:

Iberico pork rack served with confited tomatoes, chestnuts and potatoes

Cheese platter
