Adriaan windmill overhang the nice terrace where you can just spend hours just looking at the boats passing by on the Spaarne.
This is a sunny day, and as a haarlemmer told me, this is the spot in town where you can enjoy longer the sun in the afternoon!
The menu is not so long with the typical starters and a good place made to fish and seafood in the main courses.
We decided to share sardines from the oven with a bruschetta,... really delicious and original!
Then I ordered an American steak with a coriander and lemon grass sauce, served with grilled vegetables and fries,... the mix was really good as well and the meat was not so bad.
We had a bottle of rosé wine, quite fashion this year, the AIX from Côtes de Provence.... Light and fruity! On the terrace, with the sun, it was just perfect!
Then I could not resist to the white chocolate cheesecake with fresh raspberries,...the mix was perfectly balance,.... a real sin that brought me to heaven!!!!! ;-)
The waitresses were nice and helpful, the service was good. We paid 41 Euros per person, in total, a little bit pricey for me, but definitely worthy! I will come back as soon as the sun comes out!
