Winter compote
It's still winter here,... I'm getting fed up with cold, wind and bad weather,... in order to fight the depressed atmosphere, this weekend I tried my Mom's recipe of winter compote! Easy, healthy and sweet!!!!
In a bowl, put dried fruit. I had figs and apricots at home. I add cinnamon, aniseed star and tea bag of Darjeeling tea and cover all with boiling water.
Cover the bowl and let it for 1h. Passed this time, the fruits were re-hydrated and was in a sweet and tasty sauce! You can enjoy it like this, or with some apple compote, yogurt or whatever that can marry! You can preserve it one week in the fridge with no problem! Think about all the dried fruits you like!!!!
