Pink Cocktail for the Roze Stad in Haarlem
This weekend Haarlem tuns pink celebrating the gay and lesbian community through the whole city through the Roze Stad with the slogan ¨we celebrate differences¨.
As heterosexual, but also as an expat who has gays and lesbians friends everywhere in the world, I find extremely important to celebrate differences, respect the others and define a society where everyone can feel free to love as he or she wants.
Haarlem turns pink literally;all the shopping windows are pink, bridges and statues around the city are decorated with pink knitting, from a sudden, Haarlem seems to be a warmer and more welcoming city!
And the best of all this, is that this morning, Saturday 7 July, the sun is shining and the sky is blue! I love it!

This is quite easy to prepare! You need a big wine glass. First put 1 tea spoon of crème de cassis. Add 3/4 of rosé wine and finish with 1/4 of pomelo fanta. Drink really fresh and decorate with pomelo slices and mint leave.
