Caramelized spicy prawns

Let me share with you this delicious, quick and easy recipe I tried for lunch this weekend! It is just so good, that I spent 5 more minutes sucking my fingers full of spicy caramel,...

Ingredients for 4 persons:
- 500 grs of big king prawns
- 1/2 fresh red pepper in thin slices
- 2 tbps. of raw sugar
- 2 tbps of olive oil
- 1 handful of fresh coriander

In a fried-pan, put the oil at medium heat and cook the prawns for 1 minute on each side with the slices of pepper.

Then sprinkle the sugar on top and increase the heat and let caramelized. When the sugar starts to turns golden, turn the prawns and finish the cooking till your caramel is well done.

Serve straight away with some Basmati rice cooked with lemongrass, and top the dish with fresh coriander. I also like very much to add some soy sauce.
Besides, I also serve a fennel's salad thinly sliced and seasoned with a orange juice and olive oil dressing.

The mix of flavors is just amazing, the spicy caramel with the prawns and the side dishes,... it takes 5 minutes to cook it, and less to eat the whole dish! I hope you will love it!
