10 Christmas treats and cookies
It is time to indulge ourselves and share bites of happiness with friends and family. I really love Christmas for all that special moments!
As you already know, I have a sweet tooth and I am totally addicted to chocolate. I always use the darkest and most pure chocolate possible. I prefer the bitter bite than the sweetness in it.
This is a selection of my 10 best recipes of chocolates and cookies to offer to your guests and beloved for Christmas! They are all quick and easy to make and can be prepared in advance. A good plan for the weekend, isn´t it?

Ingredients for 30 cookies:
- 250 gr. of wheat flour- 125 gr. of butter
- 50 gr. of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 1tea spoon of cinnamon
- 1 tbs. of anise seeds
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 tea spoon of nutmeg
Turn the oven on 180ºC.
In a bowl, put together the flour, sugar, salt and spices. Mix. Add the egg and the melted butter and mix with your fingers till it gets together and make a bowl.
Spread the dough on a clean surface with a little bit of flour till you get it 1cm thick.
With a star shaped punch and cut as many stars as you can.
Place it on an oven tray and brush the cookies with a whisked egg to let it shine.
Place in the oven 20 minutes at 180ºC. When the cookies are golden take them off and let them cool on plate. Keep them in closed box for 2 weeks.
