Chez Abel is one of the renowned place where you can try the Lyon’s cuisine.
The old fashioned local is like a 19th century museum and it is really funny to walk around the different rooms and discover the beautiful details of the decoration. The service is kind, effective and helpful.
Quenelles Gratin |
Then I went for the seafood gratin with crayfish, scallops and quenelles (fish dumplings) in a creamy béchamel. It was lovely!
For dessert, I chose to have some typical cheese from the region, Saint Marcellin, a very creamy and soft cow's milk cheese!
I highly
recommend you to go there, and book the table in advance if you want to try the
authentic Lyon’s cuisine.
